South Korean automaker Kia announced that it intends to increase production of its model Optima by some 60,000 units this year, mainly by a majority using the expanded capacity in the United States.

Kia decision comes after he sold 84,590 in youth in the USA for 2011, more than triple its sales in 2010. Last year marked the first full year of production for the Optima redrawn, with Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia adding 60,000 capacity units. The company’s plant in West Point, GA., constructs the Optima, Sorento and the Hyundai Santa Fe.

Tom Loveless, Vice President of Kia Motors sales America said “we expect these vehicles” to account for approximately 50% of our volume here in the United States in 2012, the Optima and Sorento accounted for 44% of Kia’s sales in the United States.

Loveless added that the company is having difficulty keeping up with the demand for the Optima, which could force Kia to import the template directly from South Korea. The Optima hybrid, however, will continue to be imported from South Korea.

Loveless also made the prediction that the Optima is Kia’s best selling vehicle in the United States this year, surpassing the Sorento that has been holding the Crown for the past two years.

He noted that, with the increase in production of Optima, Kia must have three cars with more than 100,000 u.s. sales this year — the Optima, Sorento and soul. In 2011, Kia Sorentos sold 130,235 and 102,267 souls in the United States.  The company Posted a 36 percent increase in US sales in 2011 to 485,492 vehicles.

When the new Nissan Pathfinder was exhibited at the Detroit Auto show, had tinted Windows dark seriously so that you could not see that the concept was in the show without an interior.

Nissan has now released some images of the interior of their new three-row SUV, which introduces a new stylish interior, a wide variety of new technologies and a more spacious third row of seats. Nissan said that 2013 Nissan Pathfinder will hit American showrooms in the fall.

The new Nissan Pathfinder is said to offer “an unprecedented level of premium style, comfort and thoughtful technology.” Because the seven-passenger SUV returns to unibody construction in its fourth generation, the interior can become more roomier and the floor is flat, allowing for more space for all three rows of seats.

“As families spend more time in their everyday SUVs, as well as on weekends, Pathfinder generation is accelerating with more comfort, innovative technology, greater fuel efficiency and most importantly, more flexibility for the family,” Nissan Vice President Al Castignetti, said in a statement.

Nissan Pathfinder Interior concept features a new dashboard design with elegant forms, organic, taking the place of simple design and square off the old model. There are leather seating surfaces with heated front seats and colds and second-tier heated seats; a heated, power tilt and telescopic steering wheel; Nissan intelligent key with push button Start and multiple user memory configurations; and a Bose audio system with 13 speakers.

The banks of second line 5.5 inches of travel to feature more legroom or cargo capacity (with split 50/50, reclining third row folded) and folding seat design for striker Advisor access to the third row. The second and third rows fold flat to handle large items.

The fraction of 60/40 second has a “child mode” on the side of 40 divided, allowing you to access third-party-line with a child seat in the second row. It was designed so that parents could leave a child seat is screwed on the third line, allowing older children access to the third row of seats.

A view of advanced drive-assist is located in instrument cluster directly in front of the driver. the center of the dash has a display of large touch screen infotainment. The dash mounted screen displays the Nissan navigation system with real-time traffic and weather information, as well as restaurant guide Zagat Survey, RearView System Monitor and Bluetooth Audio Streaming.

Around view Monitor from Nissan is also present, which uses four exterior cameras to show an image of 360 degrees of the area outside of the SUV. The concept of Pathfinder is also equipped with tri-zone climate control, Bluetooth for handsfree phone, power rear liftgate, integration with iPod and DVD screens mounted on the back of headrests and remote start. A dual-pane panoramic moonroof extends back to the third row.

2013 Nissan Pathfinder will be driven by an “Advanced” V6 engine mated to a continuously variable transmission for next-generation. Nissan says that the powertrain is expected to be 25% more efficient than the current Pathfinder V6. The SUV continues to offer optional four-wheel drive, traction and capabilities are said to be similar to the outgoing model.

Jari-Matti Latvala of Ford seems to be going for the second victory of his career in Sweden. The Finn enjoys an advantage during the night of 23 seconds over his old team-mate Mikko Hirvonen (Citroen). Petter Solberg and Mads Ostberg are split by just 11 seconds in his battle for the third place. Sebastian Loeb is running sixth.

Maruti Suzuki has announced the sale of its 10 millionth vehicle in the Indian domestic market and is the only car manufacturer to achieve this milestone in India. The 10 millionth Suzuki, a Red Swift, was delivered this week to a customer in Coimbatore from the company’s Manesar plant near New Delhi. Suzuki didn’t release a picture of the actual 10 millionth car, so maybe it was one of these!

Maruti Suzuki retains a market share of around 50 per cent of passenger / light commercial vehicles sold across India and recently celebrated its 12th consecutive year of ranking first place in the J.D Power customer satisfaction awards.

Maruti Suzuki rolled out its first car in December 1983 and attained 5 million domestic sales in February 2006. To put the growth of the Indian car market into perspective, it has taken only a further six years to reach 10 million thanks to the success of the Swift and Wagon R as well as the fact that Alto has remained the most popular new car in India over the last seven years. All Alto models for the UK, Europe and other Global markets are exported from the Manesar plant.

Nissan debuted the magazine 2013 Nissan 370Z yesterday at the Chicago Auto Show 2012. The new Z, which is scheduled to go on sale at Nissan dealers of America next June, features a number of enhancements designed to keep the legendary sports car, fresh and exciting.

For 2013, the Nissan 370Z is once again available in both Coupé and Roadster, NISMO Z.

Updates for the new model year include:
• Front Fascia with LED daytime running lights-fitting, vertical
• Reflector red added to the rear fascia (replaces the previous black central cover)
• Aluminum alloy wheels Magazine of 19 inches (Sport Package equipped models)
• New 18-inch wheels for 370Z Coupe
• Red-finished brake Calipers (Sport Package equipped models)

• Two new exterior colors – and Magma red and midnight blue

The 370Z NISMO also adds a new Bose Premium audio package with two additional loudspeakers, subwoofers and two dark metallic gun-19-inch premium wheels and finish brake hoses of high stiffness of the Nissan GT-R and performance brake fluid. The NISMO 370Z does not approve the new fascia reflector front/rear, Euro-tuned shocks or Midnight Blue exterior color.

As in 2012, 2013 370Z Coupe and 370Z Coupe Touring each available with a standard V6 DOHC engine of 3.7 liters of 332 horsepower and choice of 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic transmission. The 2013 370Z Roadster and 370Z Touring Roadster will be offered with the same engine, but with the 6-speed manual offered only with the Touring model (the 7-speed automatic transmission is available with both).

The NISMO Nissan 370Z tuner enthusiast’s dream,-Z, once again will cap off the schedule of races – offering inspiration and exterior styling, a specially tuned suspension and unique super-lightweight forged alloy wheels.

Its 3.7-litre DOHC V6 engine is combined with a unique exhaust system design H-configured, silencer and optimized adjustment of ECM (Engine computer module) – creation of 350 horsepower and 276 lb-ft of torque. Only one transmission is available, a close ratio 6-speed manual transmission with pattern matching, which enables correspondence SynchroRev rev downshifting heel-toe-like.
